Description

In this panel, we seek to explore pedagogies that highlight, investigate, and generate global-local connections in political science courses and programs. Regardless of the political science sub-field, political science education is increasingly global in context and content. Whether a one-day intervention, a full-semester course, or a co-curricular program associated with a class, the major, or the university, active learning-based teaching that compels students to examine our increasingly intertwined political policies, processes, and structures can expand students' understanding of the field. Grounded in pedagocial theories and concepts, evidence-based papers explore our global-local connections.
