This closed panel is dedicated fully to the political processes in the Anglosphere. The main aim of the articles accepted is to show the change in internal politics and legal framework in respective Anglosphere countries as well as prospects for cooperation in the post-Brexit and post-COVID world. The third decade of the 21st century is truly a time of turbulence for all Anglosphere countries which - even though placed on the different parts of the globe - are facing similar problems from the UK through Canada to Australia. Polarisation, fall of social capital, housing crisis, the migration crisis, and rising unrest.
But even in that time of turbulence new projects were started and are bringing Anglosphere ties together. Projects like AUKUS. The political ideas of post-Brexit Anglosphere cooperation such as CANZUK are also not fully dead. This panel will discuss the current state of affairs and prospects for future cooperation and problem solutions.
(panel papers are part of a grant under the Polish Ministry of Science: "Cooperation, Integration and Sovereignty in the Anglosphere. Prospects for the Development of AUKUS and CANZUK")
