Description
The instrument of law and the language of rights have been important for the struggle to recognise a spectrum of gender identities and sexualities. This, in turn, matters for the crafting of policy and delivery of public services equally to all citizens. The issues involved range from decriminalisation of homosexuality and marriage equality to equal access to sexual health rights and equity. The papers on this panel examine this quest--through law and policy advocacy--for equality and the politics of this struggle.
