Central to Indigenous politics is the role of women and the active political and community roles that they inhabit, including within political leadership and political movements. This panel comprises papers from the Indigenous governance and self-determination, and Indigenous political participation and mobilization streams that largely focused on the roles of Indigenous women in politics. Case studies cover a range of contexts across the world.
