The Mixed Electoral Systems - Strategies and Accountability

Mixed electoral systems can give rise to sophisticated political strategies, dilemmas about the responsibility of individual politicians, and, as a result, questions about voters' overall evaluation of the political system. This panel is an opportunity to present the results of research devoted to such issues. Answers to questions about political strategies and the responsibility of parties or candidates were sought through international comparisons and detailed analyses of the situation in individual countries using mixed electoral systems.
