Built in 1395, Gyeongbokgung Palace is also commonly called the Northern Palace because its location is furthest north compared to the neighboring palaces of Changdeokgung (Eastern Palace) and Gyeonghuigung (Western Palace) Palace. Gyeongbokgung Palace is arguably the most beautiful and remains the largest of all five palaces.
The Hanbok is the traditional Korean clothes. The term "Hanbok" literally means "Korean clothing". It was established as a part of the unique living culture of Korea, influenced by the geographical and climatic nature of the Korea, and handed down throughout the years to present times.

Namsangol Hanok Village preserves traditional hanok houses amidst a tranquil natural setting, and visiting this place feels like embarking on a journey through time. Here, you can explore five traditional hanok houses, each with its own unique structure, where the lives and culture of the past are beautifully preserved. In this peaceful village, you can experience the delicate architectural beauty of hanoks and immerse yourself in Korea's history.

Located in the heart of the city, Insadong is an important place where old but precious and traditional goods are on display. There is one main road in Insadong with alleys on each side. Within these alleys are galleries, traditional restaurants, traditional teahouses, and cafes. To keep the ambience, even international cafes like Starbucks changed their banners from English spelling to Korean alphabet Hangeul.
